Vice President Ma'ruf Amin explained that in the last five years, sharia economy and finance have contributed to strengthening national economic resilience through its infrastructure foundation. The Vice President requested that sharia economy and finance continue to be optimized in bringing real socio-economic impacts to the community.
Going forward, the Vice President believes that sharia economy and finance will be an important part in supporting economic transformation through increased productivity and competitiveness towards the Golden Indonesia 2045.
“To support this, the development of a strong infrastructure and institutional ecosystem should be a priority in order to strengthen the foundation of sharia economic and financial development in the next five years,” the Vice President said as quoted by the republika.co.id page some time ago.
Sharia economy has been included in the 2025-2045 National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) document. This shows that sharia economy has become part of the national economic policy that will bind the government, both central and regional. Thus, Indonesia Emas 2045 will not be possible without the contribution and involvement of Islamic economic instruments.
