      IAEI Central Board meets The Lord Mayor of The City of London

      The meeting discussed the potential for strategic co-operation that can be built between the United Kingdom and Indonesia.

      The Lord Mayor of the City of London, Vincent Keaveny met with the Executive Board of the Indonesian Association of Islamic Economists (DPP IAEI), represented by Prof. Dian Masyita Ph.D as Chairperson of the Zakat and Waqf Development Division, Dr. Hurriyah El Islamy as Member of the International Cooperation Division, and Wahyu Jatmiko, Ph.D as Executive Secretary, at the Islamic Finance Roundtable on Wednesday 28 June 2022 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Jakarta. 

      The meeting discussed the potential for strategic cooperation that can be built between the United Kingdom and Indonesia, especially related to the development of Islamic economics and finance in order to support sustainable finance after COP26.
