The Indonesian Association of Islamic Economists (IAEI), together with Gunadarma University and the Indonesian Sharia Fintech Association (AFSI), is strengthening synergy among academics, practitioners, professional organizations, and the financial technology industry to bolster the resilience of Indonesia’s Sharia economy amidst global economic dynamics.
This commitment is reinforced through the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Gunadarma University, IAEI, and AFSI. The partnership plays a crucial role in strengthening ties between higher education and the Sharia economic and financial ecosystem, particularly regarding human resource development, research, innovation, and the utilization of financial technology.
This synergy highlights the importance of collaboration among universities, IAEI, AFSI, practitioners, regulators, and the public in building a Sharia economy that is more adaptable to changing times. Strengthening this ecosystem is expected to position the Sharia economy not merely as an alternative, but as an integral part of national economic development.
