Wahyu Jatmiko, Academician of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia, as well as Executive Secretary of DPP IAEI, discussed the possibility of implementing a universal Islamic bank system which is considered more in line with the basic principles of Islamic economics. This research was conducted with 3 other researchers from Durham University, Kent University and Surrey University, United Kingdom and has been published in the reputable international journal Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting in 2023.
