      IAEI Inaugurates 13 New Commissioners in Greater Jakarta, Ready to Strengthen Islamic Economics

      IAEI revitalization efforts to encourage commissariats in the Jakarta area and its surroundings to be more active in contributing to developing the Islamic economy.

      The Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Islamic Economists Association (IAEI) officially inaugurated 13 commissioners for the 2026-2031 term during a National Seminar held at the Al-Quddus Auditorium, YARSI University, Jakarta, on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. The inauguration ceremony was led by the Secretary General of IAEI, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sutan Emir Hidayat, Ph.D., in front of all commissioner representatives present in person and watching via a live broadcast on the Yarsi TV YouTube channel. He led the oath-taking ceremony for all newly formed commissioners.

      Prior to the swearing-in ceremony, Mega Oktaviani, Ph.D., Secretary of the Organizational Development, Regional Development, and Commissioning Division of IAEI, presented the Decree on the inauguration of the commissioners. All commissioners inaugurated today were formed based on the consensus of experts, academics, and observers of Islamic economics who actively focus on the development of Islamic economics in their respective institutions.

      This inauguration is part of IAEI's organizational revitalization efforts to encourage commissioners in the Jakarta area and surrounding areas to be more active and contribute to the development of Islamic economics at the institutional level. The presence of hundreds of new administrators from various universities is expected to provide new energy that will drive the wheels of Islamic economics more massively in the future.

      The first commissioner to receive the inauguration was the IAEI YARSI University Commission, with a board of advisors chaired by Prof. Dr. Nurul Huda, S.E., M.M., M.Si., and a board of directors chaired by Dr. Medan Wilestari, S.E.Ak., M.M., M.Si., CA. This commissioner has a total of 24 administrators.

      Next, the IAEI Perbanas Institute Commissariat, with an advisory board chaired by Prof. Dr. Ir. Hermanto Siregar, M.Ec., and a board of directors led by Prameswara Samofa Nadya, S.E., M.Si., is one of the largest commissariats, with a total of 32 administrators.

      The IAEI IAI Sahid Bogor Commissariat was also inaugurated, with an advisory board chaired by Dr. Titien Yusnita, S.S., M.Si., and a board of directors led by H. Rully Trihantana, S.Si., M.Si., totaling 33 administrators.

      Furthermore, the IAEI UPN Veteran Jakarta Commissariat was inaugurated, with an advisory board chaired by Dr. Jubaedah, S.E., M.M., and a board of directors led by Dr. Ade Nur Rohim, S.H.I., M.E.I., CDIF. This commissioner consists of 19 administrators.

      The IAEI Pamulang University commissioner followed suit, with Edian Fahmy, S.E., M.M., as the advisory board chaired by Nufzatutsaniah, S.E.I., M.E., for a total of 28 administrators.

      From the Cikarang area, the IAEI STEBI Global Mulia commissioner was also officially inaugurated. Its advisory board is chaired by Dr. Deni Lesmana, S.Pd., M.Pd.I., while the board of directors is led by Dr. Irwan Habibi Hasibuan, S.H., M.E.I., with a total of 32 administrators.

      The IAEI PTIQ Jakarta University commissioner had the largest number of administrators at today's inauguration, with 48 members. Its board of directors is led by Prof. Dr. The inauguration was held in Bogor by Drs. H. Nasaruddin Umar, M.A., while the board of directors was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Patria Yunita, M.Si., Ph.D.

      From Bogor, the IAEI Nida El Adabi Institute Commissariat was also inaugurated, with Drs. H. Ramlan Rosyad, M.Si., as its advisory board, and H. Luthfi Rantaprasaja, S.Sos., M.Com. as its board of directors. This commission has 14 members.

      The IAEI Al Azhar Indonesia University Commissariat was present, with Prof. Dr. Widodo Muktiyo as its advisory board, and Luthfia Sevriana, S.E., M.Si. as its board of directors, with a total of 36 members.

      From Tangerang, the IAEI Muhammadiyah University Tangerang Commissariat was also officially inaugurated. Its board of directors was chaired by Dr. Desri Arwen, M.Pd., with a board of directors under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Sutarmadi, M.A., consisting of 33 members.

      The IAEI Commissariat of the Islamic Institute of Indonesia (SEBI) is noteworthy, with a total of 45 members. The board of trustees is led by Sigit Pramono, Ph.D., CA., CPA., and chaired by Firmansyah, S.E.I., M.M.

      The IAEI Commissariat of the Nahdlatul Ulama Indonesia University (NUU) was also inaugurated, with a board of trustees chaired by Juri Ardiantara, Ph.D., and a board of trustees under Abdul Qodir, M.A.Hum., with 23 members.

      Finally, to conclude the series of decree readings, the IAEI Commissariat of the Budi Bhakti Islamic School (STIM) was inaugurated, with a board of trustees led by Aza El Munadiyan, S.Si., M.M., and a board of trustees chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Efrota Norman, M.M., Ph.D., with a total of 19 administrators.

      With the inauguration of these 13 new commissioners, IAEI now has hundreds of new administrators spread across various universities in Jakarta and the surrounding area, ready to contribute to strengthening Indonesia's Islamic economic ecosystem.
