The Indonesian Association of Islamic Economists (IAEI) received an award from Media Warta Ekonomi Group as the "Indonesia Best Organization of Islamic Economic Scholars and Practitioners 2024 with Strategic Collaboration to Strengthen and Finance Ecosystem" in the category of Islamic Economic Academics and Practitioners Organization in Indonesia Sharia and Halal Top Brand Awards 2024. Chairperson of the Education and Socialization Division of the IAEI Central Leadership Council, Dwi Irianti Hadiningdyah received the award on behalf of the Chairman of IAEI on Tuesday (2/7) at The Sultan Hotel and Residence Jakarta.
In her speech, Dwi Irianti expressed gratitude for the selection of IAEI in this award. Dwi Irianti also conveyed the highlights of economic growth and Islamic finance in Indonesia presented by Mr. Vice President, in the midst of challenges, one of which is related to increasing the market share of Islamic finance.
"We are grateful for this award, hopefully it can provide motivation for IAEI throughout Indonesia, said Dwi Irianti"
IAEI, which consists of academics, regulators, and practitioners, will continue to be committed to contributing together in developing Islamic economics and finance to support Indonesia's economic growth.
"Hopefully we can jointly join hands to accelerate the development of Islamic economics and finance in Indonesia." Dwi Irianti concluded.
The event was also attended by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. KH Ma'ruf Amin; Vice Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) of the Republic of Indonesia, Fadel Muhammad; CEO and Chief Editor of Warta Ekonomi Group, Muhammad Ihsan; and stakeholders of the Indonesian sharia economy and finance industry.
