Secretary V for the Development of Digital Economy and Islamic Social Finance of the Central Leadership Council of the Indonesian Association of Islamic Economists (IAEI) National Seminar with the theme “Aiming for Business Opportunities at a Young Age Through Entrepreneurship” at the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business (FEBI) of State Islamic University (UIN) Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten on Monday (27/5). Dr. Hendro Wibowo from the DPP IAEI was the guest speaker.
In his presentation, Dr. Hendro Wibowo began with the phenomenon of unemployment that has hit Indonesia in recent years, one of which is among young people. One solution that can be done is to create new jobs through youth businesses. Many sectors have the opportunity to become new business ideas, especially for young people, not to mention the technology sector that is close to their daily lives or what is called the digital economy.
“Digital economy explains the new economy, new companies, and new technology, and how they are connected to each other, said Dr. Hendro”.
The IAEI Secretary V also shared his experience in the investment sector when building Indowow Investment Group to help the government in creating jobs, by collaborating with various parties abroad.
“The most important thing is joint collaboration and friendship with organizations to expand and strengthen networks,” Hendro concluded.
The seminar was also attended by Dr. Budi Sudrajat, M.A., as Vice Dean I, Dr. Wazin, M.Si., as Vice Dean II and academicians and students of FEBI UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten.
