The Indonesian Association of Islamic Economists (IAEI) participated in enlivening the 15th International Conference on Islamic Economics and Finance (ICIEF) on February 20-22, 2024 at Sasana Kijang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. On the agenda that was officially opened by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato Seri Haji Anwar bin Ibrahim, IAEI became one of the strategic partners in organizing the 15th ICIEF.
As one of the strategic partners at the 15th ICIEF event, IAEI participated as the only exhibitor (exhibitor) representative of the Indonesian association in socializing the organization and the development of Islamic economics in Indonesia in general to conference participants who visited the IAEI booth.
IAEI socialized the organization's programs such as Policy Brief, Research and Writing of Books and Bulletins, PRIME Conference, as well as the development of Islamic economics in Indonesia to conference participants who came from various local and international communities including Indonesia, Pakistan, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Turkey, India, United States, Nigeria, Norway, Germany, India and several other countries.
The 15th ICIEF also held the International Federation of Islamic Economics and Finance Education (I-FIEFE) forum, of which IAEI is a co-founding member along with IsDB Institute, King Abdul Aziz University Saudi Arabia, International Associations for Islamic Economics UK, and IIU Malaysia. I-FIEFE is an international association that aims to advance Islamic economics and finance education worldwide.
